For the home

Residential Electrical

Wiring new homes, rewiring remodels, replacing faulty outlets and breakers. Big or small, done right the first time.

Chapter 01

The calls that start it

Most residential jobs begin with something small and annoying. An outlet that has gone dead, a breaker that will not stay on, a remodel where the old wiring cannot carry what the new kitchen needs. Craine's handles all of it for homes in Springdale and across Northwest Arkansas and Southern Missouri, big or small, and the office line at (479) 750-1672 is where those calls land.

The company wires new homes, rewires remodeled ones, and replaces faulty outlets and breakers. Lucy Claypool wrote that the crew showed up early and went to extreme measures to find a dead outlet. It took a little over an hour to locate and about five minutes to fix, and then they were on to the next job.

How a residential job runs

Craine's runs a home job the way the family has always run one: show up on time, find the problem, fix it right the first time. Nobody is working from a sales script. The guys are not paid commission, so when an electrician tells you something needs replacing, or that it can wait, the advice is straight and there is nothing in it for him either way.

Then they leave the space better than they found it. Lara Bowen runs a studio with customers coming in all the time, and she wrote that the crew is quick and cleans up so well after they finish. Arlene Horstman calls them an awesome family owned company that gets the job done right the first time, which is the standard the office holds itself to.

Chapter 03

New homes: wire and drywall from one company

On a new build the usual picture is two subcontractors working around each other: one roughs in the wire, then a separate crew hangs board over it. Craine's does both. The family business began with Ralph Craine's drywall in the 1950s and Robert Craine added electrical in 1991, so a single company can wire the house and close the walls over it, and the board is not cut twice.

Will Trapp had Craine's do the drywall on his new construction home and called them one of the best subcontractors in the entire homebuilding process, priced competitively with outstanding results. Justin Cullers, who has built in Northwest Arkansas for over a decade, from custom homes to small multi-home developments, says Craine's has been a huge part of his success the entire way.
